What do we need to be able to open an account? What are our requirements?
Form of identification i.e. valid passport. A reference from a previous Bank who will be able to confirm the signature, address (both residential and mailing). A minimum requirement of GBP5000.00 to be maintained in the account at all times. If the balance falls below the minimum requirement a quarterly maintenance charge will be deducted from the account.

How long will it take to open the account?
The account will be opened when all the requirements are fulfilled.

What is the difference between us and other Banks operating in the UK?
Being a London based Branch of a Saudi Bank, we primarily focus on Saudi Customers whose needs are fully understood by our experienced Staff.

Do we offer cheque books with cheque guarantee cards?
We offer cheque books and ATM Cards (automatic teller machine).

Do we issue credit cards?
Not at the present time, but this may be implemented at a later stage.

Do we have deposit accounts? What are the rates of interest etc.?
We offer various type of deposit accounts which attract competitive interest rates.

What other services or products do we offer?
We can arrange to settle from the account Utility Bills and Service Charge Invoices relating to Customer UK Properties. We can arrange to transfer your funds by Chaps or Swift globally. We also offer numerous credit (lending) products including overdrafts, property purchase loans, Letter of Credit and Bonding (Guarantee) Facilities, Supplier Credit and Foreign Exchange Facilities.

Do you offer Safe Deposit Boxes/Safe Custody?
Yes. We offer different sized boxes depending on the customers individual requirements. There is a charge for this service depending on the size of the box and the period required.

Does the Bank levy charges for maintaining an account?

Do we deal with Stocks/Shares and Bonds?
At this present time, we do not offer this service.

Do we offer Islamic Banking?
At this present time, we do not offer this service. However, this service is offered by our Head Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Does the Bank handle payments of Property Bills on behalf of Clients?
We can arrange to settle from the account Utility Bills and Service Charge Invoices relating to Customer UK Properties. A small fee is charged for this service.

Does the Bank offer mortgage facilities to assist in the purchase of property in the U.K? If so, what is the rate of interest and what period is it over?
Yes, we can offer financial assistance in regard to purchasing either private or commercial property in the UK. The rate of interest is based on the UK LIBOR rate with the term geared to individual requirements. This is subject to approval and meeting the Banks criteria.
