Study: Gulf exports challenged by many obstacles
4th of July 2005
(MENAFN) According to a UAE study, gulf countries make up a good example of how to use exports' leading role in pushing economic growth, KUNA reported.
The study said the domination of oil over exportations is still huge, as other exports were not able to achieve a remarkable growth during the past decades as a result of several obstacles facing exports of non-oil sectors in the GCC countries.
These obstacles include the insufficiency of the current finance systems, the limited governmental support, the increase of exportation license fees and the lack of commercial partners in other countries that are desired potential targets for exportations.
